Kristallnacht Commemoration, South Bend, Ind. To mark the anniversary of Kristallnacht – when violence was perpetrated against Jews across Germany and beyond on Nov. 9-10, 1938 – the Kurt and Tessye Simon Fund for Holocaust Remembrance presents “Prisoner of Her Past” in the auditorium of Temple Beth-El. Several hundred people attend, the post-film discussion lasting longer than the film.
